2. Requirement for Mandatory OEM Verification

Although Strainetix conducts manual auditing and programmatic normalization to ensure data accuracy, catalog data on Strainetix does not replace official OEM documentation.

Mandatory Design Verification Rule: Prior to final structural integration, circuit fabrication, payload calculation, or safety-critical deployment, all technical parameters (including excitation limits, ultimate overload ratings, pinout configurations, and mounting thread tolerances) must be independently verified against the original manufacturer’s official engineering data sheet, calibration certificate, and official Body Builder Advisory Service guides (e.g., Ford BBAS, RAM Commercial).

3. Limitation of Engineering Liability

  1. No Design Warranty: Strainetix, its founder (James Jones), and its contributors make no express or implied warranties regarding the suitability, completeness, or absolute accuracy of catalog data for specific mechanical, aerospace, automotive, or structural applications.
  2. Physical Testing Requirement: Strainetix assumes no liability for structural failures, sensor damage, miscalculated axle load distributions, or physical injuries resulting from reliance on catalog data. Physical bench testing, load cell calibration, and certified laboratory validation are required prior to field deployment.
  3. Multi-Stage Vehicle Compliance Notice: Calculations regarding vehicle center of gravity (CG) shifts, braking performance under FMVSS 105, lighting vectors under FMVSS 108, and crane stability under OSHA 1926.1400 / ASME B30.5 must be physically certified on the final vehicle assembly to fulfill 49 CFR Part 567/568 final-stage manufacturing requirements.
